Indian archers hot top not in the ongoing Archery World Cup Stage 3 in Paris, as it rained gold for them. On Sunday, India excelled in various events of the same, as it is turning out to be the perfect warm-up for the archers ahead of the Tokyo Olympics next month.

In the mixed team event, Atanu Das and Deepika Kumari clinched gold against Netherland's Sjef van den Berg and Gabriela Schloesser to win 5-3. The couple allowed India to win the third gold in the competition.

"It feels amazing. First time we won the final together, it feels so happy. It feels we are made for each other. But, in the ground, we are not couple, but like just other competitors, we motivate, support and back each other," Atanu said following the win, reports PTI.

Earlier, Deepika, along with her women's team of Ankita Bhakat and Komalika Bari, bagged gold in the team event, outplaying Mexico 5-1. "It feels happy," said Deepika following the wins.

Deepika has a chance to bag another gold later on Sunday. Earlier, compound archer Abhishek Verma had handed India the opening medal of the competition.
