Who will SNDP support in Chengannur election in Kerala?

A group of the Ezhava's community, Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana (SNDP) held a meeting today (23rd May) and decided that the party will keep a stable stand in Chengannur election in Kerala, slated for May 28. Vellapally Natesan said the party and other backward castes will decide whom they want to vote for and that no kind of pressure will be given to the voters. He added that there will be a strong triangular competition in Chengannur.

A three-member committee was instructed to make a political stand about whom SNDP should support in the by-election of Chengannur. The subcommittee has submitted a report to Vellapally Nadesan regarding this.

The decision of the SNDP's meeting has a significant political relevance because the Bharat Dharma Jana Sena (BDJS) continues to disagree with the NDA. Vellapally Nadesan has said, LDF candidate in Chengannur has more power than the other parties and that may lead them to win the election. He also has said that there are chances for the NDA's candidate to be in third place.

Keralities were enthusiastic to know how Vellapally will take a decision without making other parties feel bad. Vellapally Nadesan and BDJS claim that Chengannur has an enormous influence on the SNDP.
