What is common between this woman and Jayalalithaa?

Rumour mills take great advantage of this and viewers are automatically sucked into a vortex of lies.The latest to come from this cesspool of lies is a picture of a Kerala woman being widely circulated as the former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa’s daughter.

 

On  Google search the most asked query is not about Jayalalithaa’s death or Sasikala; the searches in fact, depict the curiosity of the general public to know what kind of a life she led - on Jayalalithaa’s marriage and whether she had a daughter. Already her foster son Sudhakaran is making news. Now, mischief makers, are circulating this picture of a woman whose face resembles Jayalalithaa.

 

This is not the first time it has happened. Previously when Amma went to jail, all details about her life were being dug up on the Internet and this woman’s picture was circulated then also being tagged as Amma’s ‘secret daughter’ holed up somewhere else.

Now with Amma’s death, the picture is again doing the rounds, but this time singer Chinmayi Sripada has decided to take the bull by its horns. She clarifies the air around this false story in a Facebook Post.

 

 

It was further shared and clarified by a relative of the woman in question. Trivandrum V Balalji has also spoken out on Facebook, and disclosed that Divya Ramanathan Veeraraghavan is the name of the woman whose picture is being circulated and that she was his sister-in-law. The woman is living with her husband in Australia and has no relation whatsoever with Jayalalithaa. He further added how she was being disturbed by friends and strangers on Whatsapp after Jayalalithaa’s death and that is why they were forced to take the singer Chinmayi Sripada’s help.
