Republic Day: KSRTC to ply 200 additional buses on January 25, 26
The buses will ply from Bengaluru to various parts in Karnataka and also to other states including Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. Here are the details of the starting points of the buses and their destinations
Bengaluru: The Karnataka State Road Corporation (KSRTC) has arranged for 200 additional buses to ply on January 25, 26 to various destinations including out of state from Bengaluru on the occasion of Republic Day.
The buses will run from the Kempegowda Bus Station in Majestic to Dharmasthala, Kukke Subramanya, Shivamogga, Hassan, Mangaluru, Kundapur, Shringeri, Horanadu, Davanagere, Hubballi, Dharwad, Belagavi, Vijayapur, Gokarna, Sirsi, Karwar, Raichur, Kalburgi, Ballari, Koppal, Yadgir, Bidar and Tirupati.
From the Mysuru Road satellite bus station, the buses will ply to Mysuru, Hunsur, Periyapatna, Virajpet, Kushalanagar and Madikeri.
The Volvo and other buses will ply from Shanthinagar terminal 2 and 4 to Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh- Madhurai, Kumbhakonam, Tirucchi, Chennai, Coimbatore, Tirupati, Vijaywada, and Hyderabad.
On demand from the public, the buses will ply from various bus stops in Bengaluru including Peenya-Basaveshwara Nagar bus stop, Jayanagar 4th block, Jalahalli Cross, Navarang, Malleshwaram 18th cross, Banashankari, Jeevanbhima Nagar, Ganga Nagar, Kengeri Stateliite Town, to Shivamogga, Davanagere, Tirupati, Mangaluru, Kundapur, Shringeri, Horanadu and Dharmasthala.
Additional buses will also operate from other states to reach back to Bengaluru on January 27, said a statement from the KSRTC.
