KSRTC's initiative Ambaari bags international honours

Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation's new initiative, Ambaari Dream Class -Travel with Dreams, received international recognition at Singapore in the supply chain and logistics category. KRSTC now operates 12 Ambaari, a Volvo sleeper coach, and provides the experience of a comfortable journey.

Bengaluru: Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) that introduced a sleeper coach, Ambaari Dream Class, with the tag line – Travel with Dreams, bagged the prestigious international accolade, CMO Asia Brand Excellence Award-2019.

The award was conferred under the supply chain and logistics sector category.

CMO Asia is a global network and also a premium forum of thought leadership, brand decision-makers, brand custodians and creative honchos together under one roof to exchange high-level brand knowledge.

KSRTC's managing director and secretary to chief minister BS Yediyurappa, Shivayogi Kalasad received the award on Thursday evening at an event at the Pan Pacific, Singapore.

The new brand Ambaari, a Volvo sleeper coach provides the experience of a comfortable journey.

The KSRTC has deployed 10 buses that ply from the Bengaluru Central division and two buses that operate from Mangaluru.

The award is no doubt a confidence booster for the public transport provider.

The KSRTC is set to add 12 more Ambaari buses that will operate on routes that usually gets them good response.
