Yes, known for serving Indian sliders, Dubai's O’Pao restaurant located in Karama has introduced the world’s first 22-karat gold vada pav, which will be available for dine-in only at an introductory price of AED100 (approx INR 2,000).
Twitter user Masrat Dawood shared this video with the caption, "#Gold_Vada_Paav This is what's wrong with the world: too many rebels without a cause."
The vada pav can be seen served in a carved wooden box lit with a nitrogen base in the video. The pack also contained sweet potato fries and mint lemonade.
As per the report, the vada is loaded with cheese and imported French truffle butter, while the bread is coated with homemade mint mayonnaise dip. The potato dumpling is wrapped with French-imported 22-karat golden leaves. Take a look
