The release of Ramaleela, the forthcoming movie of actor Dileep, has created quite a buzz on social media. Many argue that those who support the assaulted actress should boycott the film while those favouring Dileep have pledged support for Ramaleela.
Several celebrities too have voiced their support for the film stating that it is a work of art and should not be mixed with the actress attack case. They are of the opinion that the effort of so many persons are there behind the movie and hence it is not ethical to boycott it just on the basis that the lead actor is accused in a case and is remanded in custody.
Interestingly, Maju Warrier's 'Udaharanam Sujatha' is also set for release on September 28, the day on which Ramaleela will hit the theatres. Now, Manju has come forward seeking support for her movie and along with that have requested movie lovers to watch Dileep movie.
In a Facebook post, Manju Warrier said that it is quite unfortunate that the people are calling to boycott Ramaleela. She also said that personal issues should not be linked with work of art.
She starts her post by seeking support for her upcoming flick 'Udaharanam Sujatha.' She thanked everyone who stood with the team for the shooting of the film.
In her report, Manju also mentions about Dileep's upcoming movie 'Ramaleela' and has said that personal grudges should not reflect watching movies. She also states that crores of rupees have been spent on the film and it is a dream of debutant director Arun Gopy.
