A Class 11 student has accused his seniors of ragging him at a school in Palakkad's Mannarkkad. The boy claims that around 13 senior students dragged him into a toilet and thrashed him brutally.
Palakkad: A shocking ragging incident has been reported from a school in Mannarkkad, where a Class 11 student has complained that he was allegedly assaulted by a group of senior students.
The incident reportedly took place at Karimpuzha Higher Secondary School. According to the complaint filed by the student, around 13 senior students allegedly cornered him inside a school toilet and subjected him to a physical assault.

The student has alleged that the seniors targeted him over the way he was wearing his school uniform. The dispute reportedly began because he had not buttoned his shirt. What started as an objection allegedly escalated into a group assault inside the school premises.

The student sustained injuries in the incident and was subsequently admitted to a private hospital for treatment. His family, concerned about the alleged ragging and the circumstances surrounding the assault, has sought action against those involved.
Following the incident, the student's family submitted formal complaints to the school principal as well as the local police. Authorities are now expected to examine the allegations and gather information from the student, school officials and other students who may have witnessed or have knowledge of the incident.
