The 110 villages newly added to Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) can apply online for Cauvery water supply.
The Bengaluru Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) Chief Engineer Kemparamaih has informed the people in this regard. The Water Board is almost set to receive online applications for the new water connection. There will be an official announcement in this regard when it is completely ready to receive online applications.
Residents of this newly added over 100 villages can pay their beneficiary charges through online along with the application.
Currently, the work on including all these 110 villages, addresses of the beneficiaries to the BWSSB website is on. As soon as the online system is ready to work, an announcement will be made to issue applications, and the process of allotting water connections will start soon after.
Accordingly, 110 villages, seven City Municipal Councils and one Town Municipal Council have been included in BBMP. 10 TMC water is being provided to these villages under Cauvery fourth stage and second phase programme.
