Why did 'Huccha' Venkat try to commit suicide?

After Bigg Boss reality show winner Pratham attempted suicide through Live Facebook, now his con-contestant in the reality show 'Huccha' Venkat too has attempted to take out his life but not before informing the media. His alleged love failure is said to be the reason behind this. Venkat reportedly tried to consume phenol to end his life and is admitted to hospital.

'Huccha' Venkat reportedly was in love with Rachana, who had appeared along with him on a popular show 'Super Jodi' on a television channel. Quoting Venkat, Suvarna News reported that, Rachana loved him but due to parents' pressure, she was denying. It upset him and he thought his attempt to end life would "convince" her. However, the media reports also said that Rachana was only his "friend" and nothing else, as claimed by her.

Depressed over it, Venkat allegedly sent a message to several mediapersons stating that he was upset with Rachana as she refused to proclaim her "love" for him. So, he had decided to end his life. Yeshvanthpur police have now rushed to Venkat's residence and are gathering details about it, reports Suvarna News.

It may be recalled here that Venkat had earlier claimed that he had married actress-turned-politician Ramya. While he failed to establish his claims, his "antics" earned him much criticism. Recently, he directed and acted in a movie. He was ousted from the Bigg Boss reality show after he allegedly assaulted his co-contestant. Venkat has always been in the news for all the wrong reasons.
