The Governor addressed the joint session of the Karnataka Assembly and delivered the first speech of the ruling coalition government of the state. Here are 13 issues mentioned in the speech. Though the speech listed down solution farmers problems, it dis not point directly to waiving off the farmers loans.

1) Development of agriculture sector through the use of advanced agri-tools; government to take necessary steps to prevent farmers suicides, also measures to tackle monsoon-related issues

2) New agricultural practice following the model of Israel to be implemented

3) Necessary measures to be taken by the police to prevent cyber crimes; preference to appointment of female police officers

4) Government to have special programmes for developing Hyderabad-Karnataka region; to start with reservation to H-K people in government jobs and extend help in irrigation projects

5) Compensation to farmers if their crops are destroyed due to wild animals attack

6) Strict plan to ban complete use of plastic

7) Measures to be taken to save rivers and water sources from getting polluted

8) Many new plans to improve the standard of imparting education

9) Action to stop child labour, accordingly Karnataka to be free of child labour by 2030

10) Special attention to health care; super speciality hospitals to be built  

11) Roads to be laid for better connectivity between rural and town-cities

12) Plans to improve infrastructure in Karnataka, especially to solve the traffic problem in Bengaluru

13) Work related to Metro in Bengaluru to speed up with all connections to be linked and ready to use by 2031
