Bharathi Vishnuvardhan gifts husband’s favourite turban to this man

FollowThe turban which one of Kannada’s greatest actors Dr Vishnuvardhan wore was presented to the actor’s die-hard fan. Actors’ wife Dr Bharathi Vishnuvardhan presented the turban as a gift to this Mysuru man. Vishnuvardhan died in 2009.
The lucky fan who got the turban as a gift is Snake Shyam, a famous snake expert and corporator. Actress Bharathi was in Mysuru as she is constructing a house at Jayanagar in Mysuru. Snake Shyam is also known for his love towards Vishnuvardhan. Remembering this Bharathi invited Snake Shyam home and fulfilled his desire of many days by presenting him the actor’s turban.
Speaking to Just Kannada, Snake Shyam said that he one of the biggest fans of Dr Vishnuvardhan. He was also with the actor in his last days as well as when he was breathing his last. He also took an active part in shifting the actor’s body to Bengaluru for the funeral.
It was then that Snake Shyam had requested Vishnu’s family to give him the turban which the actor used as his remembrance. But the family could not fulfill it as they were mourning. But even after eight years, wife Bharathi Vishnuvardhan gave the turban to Snake Shyam.
It so happened that when Snake Shyam was being presented with Mother Theresa award in Bengaluru, he had met Bharathi and had reminded her of his request for the turban. Keeping this in mind the actor’s wife got the turban and blessed Shyam.
This is the best moment of my life and I will always cherish it, said Shyam speaking to Just Kannada.
