The victims were reportedly standing outside a bakery when the lorry suddenly veered towards the footpath and struck them.
Lorry Accident In Ballari Leaves Woman Dead
The impact was severe, killing 48-year-old Mahadevi on the spot. Three others, identified as Sunitha, Poojari Jedemma and Gagan, sustained injuries in the accident.
Locals rushed the injured victims to Ballari Trauma Care for immediate treatment. Initial reports indicate that the lorry driver's alleged negligence may have contributed to the accident.
