The couple was in a mall, conversing with an air conditioner salesperson. According to reports, although fully participating in the talk, the salesperson was only glancing at the woman's spouse. After a time, the lady became preoccupied with her baby, and the guy requested her to rejoin the discussion--only for the salesperson to disparage her by suggesting that "she won't understand".

The clip quickly went viral, reflecting Indians' very patriarchal and conventional attitudes of women, their responsibilities, and education. According to the report, the couple did not purchase anything from the business. As soon as the post became viral, netizens started reacting. Many people remembered comparable occurrences from their own lives.
