UP CM Yogi Adityanath announces plan to set up film city in state
Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath has said that a film city will be set up which will help in generating employment.
Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath on September 19 announced that a film city will be set up in the state. Yogi said that the country needs a good film city and Uttar Pradesh is ready to take up the responsibility.
"We will prepare a film city for which the region of Noida, Greater Noida, and Yamuna Expressway will be good," CM Yogi said.
The chief minister added that the new film city will provide a good option to film producers and will also help in generating employment. For this purpose, an action plan should be made soon.
Yogi made the statement reviewing the development works of the Meerut Division, Meerut, Hapur, Baghpat, Gautam Budh Nagar, Ghaziabad, Bulandshahr districts through video conferencing at his government residence.
The CM also directed the Noida authority to expedite the work of ongoing projects like the Noida Convention and Habitat Centre, Golf Course, and Expansion of Metro and Shooting range in Sector 21 A.
He deliberated on the vexed issue of builders-buyers conflict in Noida and Greater Noida asking the officials to safeguard consumers’ rights by all means. He said that as soon as the flat is ready, its registration should be done immediately.
