Former diplomat and Congress MP Shashi Tharoor got schooled by Twitterati on Thursday after he committed a sensational gaffe on his Twitter handle.
Tharoor tweeted a photo of Gautama Buddha to wish his followers on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti, the most revered festival of the Jain community.
Twitterati went hysterical on seeing the faux pas, with many users giving Tharoor a taste of his own sarcastic medicine. They sent him wishes for various days and celebrations, by attaching conflicting images along with it.
