Sandalwood drug case: Ragini’s custody extended till Sep 16; actress with Sanjjanaa to undergo COVID-19 test

Sandalwood actress Ragini Dwivedi’s CCB custody has been extended by two days till September 16. The actress along with Sanjjanaa Galrani were to be produced before the First Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate through videoconferencing on September 14.

Bengaluru: Sandalwood actress Ragini Dwivedi was in the hopes of getting a bail on Monday, however, there appears to be no good sign for the actress.   

There seems to be absolutely no chances of bail for Ragini as the actress’s custody with the CCB has been extended by two days.

The actress will be in the CCB’s custody until Wednesday, September 16.

Ragini Dwivedi will next appear in front of the magistrate on September 16, and the fate of her bail will be decided only on Wednesday.  

There are rumours that her custody may be extended by 15 days, and she may be shifted to the Parappana Agrahara Jail if the actress does not get a bail.

Meanwhile, actresses Ragini Dwivedi and Sanjjanaa Galrani had been taken to the KC General hospital for COVID-19 tests on Monday (September 14) afternoon. Both the actresses have tested negative for the same.

Earlier, Ragini’s custody had been extended by 3 days on Friday, September 11 upon the request of the CCB.

Ragini also had   to undergo two medical drug tests, as she had allegedly mixed water in her first urine sample taken on Thursday, September 10.
