LPG cylinder prices increase by Rs 25 again

LPG cylinder prices were again hiked by Rs 25 on Monday (March 1). Presently, a 14.2 Kg cylinder is priced at Rs 794 in Delhi while it costs Rs 745.50 in Kolkata and Rs 735 in Chennai.

LPG cylinder prices were again hiked by Rs 25 on Sunday (March 1) night. This is the fourth time that the LPG cylinder price has been increased by Rs 25 per cylinder. As a result, the price of gas has increased by Rs 225 since December. 

Presently, a 14.2 Kg cylinder is priced at Rs 794 in Delhi while it costs Rs 745.50 in Kolkata and Rs 735 in Chennai.

Similarly, the prices of unsubsidised cylinders in Delhi and Mumbai are Rs 819 and Rs 823 respectively. 

In December, the price of the LPG cylinder was increased from Rs 594 to Rs 644 and then on December 15, its price was again increased to Rs 694. However, in January, the price of non-subsidized LPG (14.2 KG) was Rs 694.

At the beginning of February, the price of domestic gas was Rs 694. On February 4, its rate got again increased to Rs 719. 

Within 10 days, the price of LPG was increased by Rs 50 more, taking it to Rs 769.
