Kerala teacher secures pass from police to feed street dogs
On one hand people step out of their homes for unnecessary causes. On the other hand, there are people like a Kerala native, who has taken up a pass from police to feed hungry dogs on the streets.
Malappuram: Without a pass from police people can't step out of their homes nowadays. Many make different excuses and stories to procure a pass. But a Kerala teacher had a different reason from others.
Divya, a native of Malappuram wanted the pass to feed street dogs in her area. As the teacher felt that the street dogs would go hungry because of the lockdown, she requested the police for a pass. The police also approved her request without giving it a second thought.
The teacher steps out of her home and feeds the dogs on alternate days. She serves the dogs with Pedigree mixed with boiled rice. After she feeds each dog separately, Divya moves on to the next location.
Divya has also entrusted different people with the responsibility of feeding local dogs in places where she cannot go.
