A 24-year-old woman has accused a man known to her of sexually harassing and molesting her inside a moving car in East Delhi’s Mandawali area after he allegedly lured her out on the pretext of treating her to momos. The accused has been taken into custody after police filed a complaint in accordance with the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) requirements.

The woman said that the accused lured her out under the guise of eating momos, according to news agency ANI. He claimed at first that he had to stop to replenish the car's CNG throughout the trip, but instead he drove the car in the direction of an abandoned region.
The complainant said that once they arrived at the remote location, the accused started making lewd comments, coerced her into having intercourse, improperly touched her, and stopped her from exiting the vehicle.
The woman used her cell phone to shoot a video of the incident as it happened. Later, she went to the Mandawali police station and complained. Mandawali Police filed a formal complaint and began looking into the matter after receiving her complaint, according to ANI. According to NDTV, the woman constantly begged the accused to let her go on the video that she had taken.
At one point in the video, she is said to have said, “If you even touch me, I'll jump in front of a vehicle and end my life.” According to the complaint, the woman constantly informed the accused, "I won't let you touch my body," and accused him of tricking her. It further claimed that the accused continued to exert pressure on her, stating, "It will only take two minutes," and threatened to damage her reputation.
