Coronavirus: Kerala Industries minister EP Jayarajan tests positive for COVID-19
EP Jayarajan has become the second minister in the state to have tested positive for coronavirus
Kannur: Kerala Industries minister EP Jayarajan and wife PK Indira have tested positive for coronavirus. Jayarajan is the second minister in Kerala to have tested positive for COVID-19.
The minister and wife were shifted to the Government Medical College Hospital at Pariyaram on September 11. According to sources, four of his office staff have been quarantined.

Earlier on Sunday, finance minister Thomas Isaac tested positive for coronavirus. Following this, Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan, health minister KK Shailaja, AC Moideen, E Chandrasekharan, VS Sunil Kumar, Kadannappally Ramachandran and KT Jaleel were among the ministers who went into quarantine. Assembly Speaker P Sreeramakrishnan has also gone into quarantine.
Due to cold and fever, Isaac decided to undergo an antigen test after which his test results turned out to be positive.
