CCB busts illegal massage parlour in Bengaluru’s Sadashivanagar
Central Crime Branch (CCB) Police on Tuesday night conducted raids on an illegal spa and massage parlour in Sadashivanagar and rescued 5 girls. Similar raids were conducted in January and August last year.
Bengaluru: Bengaluru Central Crime Branch (CCB) Police on Tuesday night conducted raids on an illegal spa and massage parlour in Sadashivanagar and rescued five girls.
The raid was conducted by the CCB Women Protection Wing.
According to the Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Sandeep Patil, the CCB police team raided Summer Hills Spa in Sadashivanagar and rescued five girls.
The sleuths have also arrested the owner of the spa identified as Khayiwon Shang and he is being questioned for more details.
Cases were also filed against the owner of the spa under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

This is not the first time an illegal spa and massage centre has been busted in the city of Bengaluru especially in Sadashivanagar.
On August 31, 2019 and January this year, Bengaluru City Police conducted raids across the capital city of Karnataka and rescued close to 10 women.
An officer familiar with the operation had told media outlets back in January that the raids were conducted on the basis of information, that women from Thailand were being brought to the city illegally and forced into prostitution.
