Apple has opened its largest technology centre in Bengaluru. The company has agreed on paying rental of Rs 170 per sqft, that makes an annual expenditure of Rs 82 crore. The space will accommodate about 4000 employees.
Bengaluru: The biggest American multinational company, Apple has leased around 4 lakh sqft of commercial office space in Bengaluru’s central business district.
The current initiative is the company’s biggest deal in Bengaluru and India.
The new space will host an enormous technology centre, accommodating about 4000 employees. However, the company has decided to work with fewer workforces to avoid the effects of the pandemic.

The tech giant has signed the lease with Prestige Estates at its Minsk Square building and has agreed on paying rental of Rs. 170 per sqft, that makes an annual expenditure of Rs 82 crore.
The company already has an existing lease of 50,000 sqft in the northern part of Bengaluru with RMZ.
The deal has corresponded with the company’s latest launch of an online retail store.
Apple with an online presence in the Indian market is all set to launch its first physical store in Mumbai next month, as per the company.
