The YSRCP claimed on Sunday that the wave of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy continues to create political milestones in Andhra Pradesh after gaining a clear majority in the 547 Zilla Parishads Territorial Constituencies and Mandal Parishads Territorial Constituencies. According to the YSRCP, the party won 89.9% of the declared MPTC seats and 98.9% of the declared ZPTC seats in the MPTC and ZPTC elections.

The YSRCP party released a statement which read: "In the state of Andhra Pradesh, the 'Jagan' wave continues to create political milestones. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Telangana, led his Yuvajan Sramika Rythu Congress Party to a landslide win in the Mandal Parishad and Zilla Parishad elections." Until 7:30 p.m., the ruling party has obtained 547 Zilla Parishads Territorial Constituencies (ZPTC) out of the 553 declared and 7,284 Mandal Parishads Territorial Constituencies (MPTC) out of the 8,083 declared.

The results for the 1,504 MPTC and 88 ZPTC seats still being counted have yet to be announced. The results of the MPTC and ZPTC elections, according to Andhra Pradesh Agriculture Minister Kurasala Kannababu, demonstrate that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's winning streak is continuing. "The results of the MPTC and ZPTC elections demonstrate that CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's winning streak continues," Kannababu remarked.
