Here's why expelled AIADMK leader VK Sasikala announced her political retirement before Tamil Nadu polls
In a big political development in Tamil Nadu, expelled AIADMK leader VK Sasikala's one more audio conversion with a party cadre is doing rounds in which she has revealed why she decided to step back during the recently concluded TN Assembly election.
In yet another audio conversion with the AIADMK cadre that is now going viral in Tamil Nadu, expelled leader VK Sasikala has reportedly stated her decision to stage a comeback to active politics.
As per reports, Sasikala who was released from jail earlier this year in illegal assets case, stated that as both AIADMK's joint coordinator Edappadi K Palaniswami (EPS) and coordinator O Paneerselvam (OPS) went on making tall claims of breaching 150-mark out of 234 assembly seats, she stepped aside, to give them a fair chance, hoping they will do justice to the party by winning and hence she announced her retirement from active politics.
But after the defeat, the woman leader has now decided to come back, rebuild the party organisation and to realise the dream of 'Amma' Jayalalithaa -- 100 years of the golden rule of AIADMK.
Earlier also similar audio conversation was doing rounds and she was reportedly heard taking a jibe at Palanisamy and Paneerselvam. She assured the cadre in one of the viral conversations that she will come back and 'set things right'.
Soon after this development, cadres were expelled from the party for anti-party activities and a clear message from Palaniswamy was sent to Sasikala that her every attempt to come back will be stonewalled.
Palaniswami later at a public event said that Sasikala can meet thousands of workers but it will not have any impact on 1.5 crore AIADMK cadres.Â
