Despite having a clean record, former CM and former Union Minister DV Sadananda Gowda has to face demotion after demotion in 7 years of NDA rule at the Centre. However, the former Union Minister remains 'positive' and hopes for new responsibility from the high command.

In 2014, after a record win from Bengaluru North, Gowda was made Union Railway Minister and he also presented his maiden budget.

Within a year, he was demoted as Law Minister and later faced further demotion as he was removed from Law Minister's post and made Minister for Statistics and Program Implementation.

In the second term of the NDA government, Gowda who won for the second time from Bengaluru North was again included in the Cabinet and was made Minister for Chemical and Fertilizers in 2019.

From becoming a Union Railway Minister soon facing demotions and finally, out from the Cabinet, Gowda has experienced it all in 7 years. Gowda reportedly said that the national president has assured him of a new role and he 'happily' has resigned from the Minister's post.

"I have been serving the party for the last 27 years. Handled various positions in the party. The high command has not yet specified my role, but strengthening the organization is my goal now. I was neither too happy about getting any big position nor extremely sad when I lost it. Have seen experienced ups and downs in my career. Whatever party asks me to do, I will do it," DV Sadananda was reportedly quoted as saying.

DVS for CM cheers crowd outside his residence:

As soon he returned to Bengaluru and reached his residence on Friday, hundreds of his supporters gathered and raised slogans saying 'Mundina Mukhyamantri DV Sadanadna Gowdaru' (DV Sadananda Gowda is next CM)

Will not be disturbed by any controversies:

As the Minister has recently got a court injunction against TV news telecasting any damage contant against him, Congress ridiculed the move.

Gowda reportedly said he will work for the party organization from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and will not be impacted by any controversies. He said his immediate move will be to meet all the leaders from his constituency and meet ward-level representatives as elections are around the corner.
