The loss in election and now riddled with factionalism, the AIADMK has suffered another blow as its IT wing head from Chennai Zone resigned.

Aspire Swaminathan who is the founder and CEO of Aspire Groups was roped in by former Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa as IT wing secretary for the state in February 2014.

He proved his worth with content, strategy and dissemination of information in all positive ways to bolster the AIADMK's prospectus.  The party with Amma's face value coupled with Swaminathan's teams' efforts, won 37 seats out of 39.

Later he was relieved from the post. He was later made IT wing secretary for Chennai Zone by O Paneersalvam as it comprises of large assembly segments. But the demise of Jayalalitha curtailed his growth.

The techie seems to have faced embarrassment following the factionalism as he supported Paneerselvam in his 'Dharma Yudham' after he turned rebel against VK Sasikala and Edappadi Palaniswami camp.

Taking to his official twitter handle, Swaminathan wrote," There is NO value for SKILL or PROFESSIONALISM anymore at AIADMK. Even worse, is the Lack of Vision & absence of Direction. Having informed the leadership last week to relieve me from the party post, I, have NOW submitted my resignation even from the primary membership of AIADMK,"
