To address the issue concerning the state Congress unit and its internal rebellion of warring factions of Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar and appointment of new office bearers at Karnataka level, the central leadership has summoned both leaders to Delhi. Both leave for Delhi tomorrow for a scheduled meeting on Tuesday at 4 pm.

It is said that top leaders Rahul Gandhi, AICC Karnataka in-charge Randeep Singh Surjewala, KC Venugopal AICC (Organisation) president and Priyanka Gandhi will hold discussions separately.

Interestingly, this will be the first time Priyanka Gandhi will hold talks with Karnataka leaders.

As the matter related to 'Who will be next CM from Congress' in Karnataka has become a bone of contention between Siddaramaiah's loyalists and Shivakumar's loyalists, the party has begun to witness a crack and to address these issues, both have been summoned to Delhi.

While both the leaders have maintained dignity saying only the high command will decide on that subject and once the party comes to power, a leader like BZ Zameer Ahmed Khan, time and again has maintained ex-CM Siddaramaiah as next CM despite warnings.

Zameer is now being considered resorting to 'pure sychopency' to emerge as the only minority leader with 'concern' and is reportedly keeping all the regional media despite dressing him down time and again.

It is said that central leadership which has witnessed such things in the past is trying to apply brakes and instruct top leaders to send a strong message to MLAs and all the party workers to be within their limits, work to strengthen the party and bring Congress to power.

The matter regarding appointing district Congress presidents will also be part of the discussion.
