Pak Foreign Secretary to be in Delhi tomorrow for Heart of Asia meet

Pakistan Foreign Secretary will be in New Delhi tomorrow to attend the Heart of Asia regional conference.

Pakistan Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry, according to a report will attend the gathering along with other Pakistani officials.  

Heart of Asia conference, also known as the Istanbul Process, is going to witness participation of delegates from 14 member countries, including the US, China and Iran. The Process is a confidence building exercise to discuss issues of mutual interest. 

The sixth meet is going to generate a lot of interest as the foreign secretaries of India and Pakistan might meet on the sidelines of the conference to discuss a bilateral issue.   

It is being speculated that secretarial-level talks might resume which has been under suspension since the Pathankot air base attack, early this year.
