Mosul: 19 Yazidi women burnt alive for refusing sex with ISIS fighters
FollowThe Islamic State (ISIS) terrorists forced 19 Yazidi women in to cages and burnt them alive for refusing to live as sex slaves with its fighters in the Iraqi city of Mosul.
Mosul, the second largest Iraqi city, was taken over by the ISIS terrorists in June 2014 after it over ran the Iraqi forces and captured large swathes of land. During the onslaught, the ISIS also captured Sinjar, a Kurdish region in Iraq located near the Syria border. Since then thousands of young Yazidi women have been living in slavery in Mosul.
ARA News,a Syrian independent press agency, earlier this week revealed that it has information that the ISIS executed 19 Yazidi girls by putting them in cages and burning them to death.
"They were punished for refusing to have sex with ISIS militants," a local media activist Abdullah al-Malla told ARA News.
Another eyewitness added: “The 19 girls were burned to death, while hundreds of people were watching. Nobody could do anything to save them from the brutal punishment."
According to local sources, there are still 1,800 Yazidi girls, who being used as sex slaves by ISIS in Mosul.
