Modi brings Acche Din for mobile wallets

The mobile wallets and other digital payment platforms are expected to benefit from the Narendra Modi’s decision of scrapping 500 and 1000 rupee notes. According to some of the top entrepreneurs of the nation, the digital payment platforms and mobile wallets are going to lure a lot of customers from now onward.

Flipkart CEO Binny Bansal believed that it may be a game-changer for these start up digital payment platforms. He also mentioned about his team working hard on helping the customers to use the digital payment platforms rather than using cash-on-delivery.

This move of demonetising 500 and 1000 rupee notes may also reduce the cash-on-delivery orders significantly as well.

The e-commerce websites will experience more online payments and in return it will help them grow in near future as well, predicted Paytm founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma.

The CEO of Snapdeal and Freecharge, Kunal Bahl, also praised the Indian government’s decision.
