Investigators probing the Jisha murder case has taken one person from Bengaluru into custody on Sunday morning. The person is reported to have stayed near to Jisha's home in Perumbavoor and left for Bengaluru after the murder.
However, police haven't divulged any details yet.
Till now, over 125 people have been questioned in connection with the rape and brutal murder of the 29-year-old law student at her home at Perumbavoor in Ernakulam district on April 28.
The state police and the government is under tremendous pressure to nail the culprit as no arrests have been made by in the case even after ten days since the incident and criticism have been pouring in from all quarters to arrest the murderer.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on an election tour in the state, had blamed the incompetence of the state government for the delay of arrest.
