Iraqi defence minister flies F-16 to bomb ISIS
Iraqi Defense Minister Khaled Obaidi has become viral sensation after he manned an F-16 fighter aircraft during a bombing mission against the Islamic State (ISIS) in Fallujah.
The Iraqi army backed by the Shiite militia have launched a major offensive against ISIS in Fallujah on May 22. The Iraqi Defence Minister, who served as a flight engineer in the Iraqi Air Force between 1987-2003 participated in a bombing mission in Fallujah.
"Occupied #Fallujah, heading there in a F16 fighter jet to destroy targets where Daesh is hiding," Obaidi said in a tweet, addressing ISIS by an arabic acronym.

Later in another tweet post he said: "Daesh bombing ops in #Fallujah we gift to families of martyrs & wounded, & all honuorable Iraqis for #Ramadhan "
Fallujah, located roughly 69 kilometers west of Baghdad on the Euphrates, is one of the largest cities of Anbar province, which is ISIS stronghold.
