Dubai's Burj Khalifa in Pink for breast cancer awareness drive

The tower will be shaded in pink over three nights every week in October as part of a campaign to raise awareness and funds for the breast cancer awareness month.

That's not all, special chocolates will be distributed at The Cafe located at At the Top, Burj Khalifa. And, for every item sold in their retail stores throughout October, AED 1 will be endorsed to Al Jalila Foundation, which helps in the drive.

Visitors to Burj Khalifa are also  invited to wear pink, to show their support to the cause.

The breast cancer awareness month encourages women to undertake regular checks, as early detection has shown to increase treatment success rates, as well as raise funds to find a cure to the disease which affects women around the world.
