Price of 'hot-selling' Mahindra Thar set to be revised

Mahindra is reportedly preparing to revise the price of the Thar SUV. The revised price will come into effect from today. According to reports, the introductory price of the Mahindra Thar SUV, which was launched two months ago, ended last night.

<p>Mahindra unveiled the second generation Thar on Independence Day on August 15, 2020. The car, which started booking on October 2 on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, has received a good response in the market. Within a month of its launch, it had garnered over 20,000 bookings. All variants of the vehicle were sold out until May 2021</p>

<p>The monthly production of the vehicle is 2000 units. With the increase in bookings, the company has started steps to increase its production capacity to 3,000 from January. Currently the waiting time for this vehicle is up to seven months. Thar is available in two variants, LX and AX, in hard top and soft top versions.</p>
