Due to strong tidal waves, five dumpers loaded with boulders sank in the sea.  Realizing the danger, the drivers of the dumper jumped into the sea and somehow survived. The incident has caused a stir in the area.

<p>The administration has taken initiative towards fixing damages along the coasts. Dumpers loaded with five boulders were brought to Digha from Baleshwar in Orissa. The accident occurred when the boulder was being unloaded from the dumpers.<br />
