In a recent interview with a  news portal, the actress opened up about working in Hollywood. Taapsee revealed that she does not want to do a Hollywood film just because the makers wish to have an Indian origin actress in the movie. Taapsee believes that she is not demanding a lead role, but she wishes to play a character that is a part of the central storyline and has significant importance in the entire film.

Taapsee also stated that she is a fan of many Hollywood directors, such as Steven Spielberg, and would love to work with him. But she is seeking an ornamental character to say YES to a Hollywood film.
