The actor once appeared on Koffee With Karan with Sonakshi Sinha to promote his film R...Rajkumar. The duo had a fun conversation with the host of the show Karan Johar.

During the rapid-fire round, Karan Johar asked Shahid Kapoor what he would give up sex or acting? The actor took a while and said, 'acting".

Listening to his answer Sonakshi was surprised as she thought he loved his profession very much. Replying to which Shahid said, "Tera kya answer hoga?" (What will be your answer). In the show, Shahid was asked if Ranveer could have played better in Kaminey than him, answering to which he said, "No, I don't agree with him" (sic).
