When birthday girl Raveena Tandon revealed she was on her 'period' during 'Tip Tip' barsa shooting

Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon turns 47 today. Did you know that she had got her periods during the shooting of her famous song Tip Tip Barsa Paani? Here's how the actress had completed the shooting.

Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon turns a year older today. The actress had once revealed that she had a difficult experience shooting for her song Tip Tip Barsa Paani from Mohra movie. She had faced several obstacles while performing the iconic song.

Reportedly, the actress had shot the song at a construction site for four days. There were rocks, and she had to perform the song barefoot. Apparently, she had even caught fever because the song required her to be completely drenched in the rain. Additionally, cold water was being used. 

The diva had also scraped her knees, and matters got worsened when she got her periods. During a previous interview with Asian Age, the actress had said, "I was never comfortable doing provocative songs. But this time, I was convinced that it would be okay. And, it was. The song was fabulous and the choreography, though erotic, was never suggestive or vulgar. I’d never do anything even remotely off-colour in my entire career.”

The song Tip Tip Barsa Paani was an important part of the movie Mohra which had Akshay in a pivotal role. The song was crooned by Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik. A remix version of the song will be presented by Akshay and Katrina Kaif in their next movie Sooryavanshi. 

To talk about the actress, she is the daughter of filmmaker Ravi Tandon and has done many films which are commercially very successful. The diva has also won the National Film Award for her performance in the movie Daman: A Victim of Marital Violence.

She was even nominated fo for getting a Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the movie Laadla. She has also done other famous films like Andaz Apna Apna. She has also created a name for herself as a leading actress in the Hindi film fraternity.
