When Baba Ramdev wanted to teach Deepika Padukone 'Indian culture and politics' (Read this)
Deepika Padukone, as an actress, is good but needs to learn and read more about Indian culture and politics, Baba Ramdev had said.
Last year, Deepika Padukone had drawn flak from right-wing leaders and got trolled for expressing solidarity with the students at the JNU campus.
At that time, Baba Ramdev had expressed his desire to work for the diva. And Baba Ramdev also gave some advice to the actress, "right advice", he says.
Yoga guru Ramdev reportedly said the Piku actress should get herself acquainted with socio-political issues in the country before taking any "big decisions".
Not just that, he allegedly said, "She should appoint people like “me” as her advisors, who will give her a "fair insight" into vital issues."
"Deepika's efficiency as an actor is a different ball game. However, she should first study social, political and cultural issues and understand more about our country. After acquiring this knowledge, she should take big decisions," Ramdev said.
He also added, “I feel that Deepika Padukone should have persons like Swami Ramdev for the right piece of advice.”
Earlier this month, Deepika's father Prakash Padukone was hospitalised in Bengaluru after testing positive for the coronavirus. After recovering from the deadly disease, he was discharged. Ujjala Padukone and Deepika's younger sister Anisha Padukone tested positive for Covid-19. However, they recovered in home isolation.
As per reports, Deepika had also tested positive for the coronavirus but recovered in home isolation. Deepika, however, did not share an official statement about her health.
