When Aishwarya Rai faced nasty questions by David Letterman; here's how she replied (Throwback)

Long back during the promotions of Bride and Prejudice, Aishwarya Rai went to David Letterman's show, where she shot back at the host's uncalled questions with her bold replies.

Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai is one of the most beautiful women in the world. Recently, she was one of the guest speakers at Stand Up, which L'Oreal Paris organized to raise awareness about standing up against street harassment.

Before that, Aishwarya Rai attended the Paris Fashion Week, representing L'Oreal Paris, for whom she has been the brand ambassador for years. She walked the ramp with Helen Mirren, Camilla Cabello, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau etc.

In 2005, Aishwarya Rai delivered a mic drop moment on TV host David Letterman’s The Late Show back a few years back. According to many social media users, David seemed ignorant about Aishwarya's achievements.

David started questioning Aishwarya from where you are from to how many films she has done to stay with her parents, etc. Aishwarya was asked many questions, and it looked like David didn't bother to do primary research on his guest.

However, Aishwarya was seen confident as she faced David questions like a pro. Her witty responses were love by her fans. In one of the questions that Letterman asked Aishwarya, “Do you live with your parents, is that true? And, is it common in India for children to live with their parents?”

Aishwarya’s epic answer, as she said, “It is fine to live with your parents because it is also common in India that we don’t have to make appointments with our parents for dinner.” 

Before that, David talked Aishwarya's career, Bollywood films and her culture, Indian languages, and the actress gave some witty replies to them.
