Was Samantha Ruth Prabhu planning to start a family? Actress' close friends clear absurd abortion rumours
Samantha Ruth Prabhu's Shakuntalam producer Neelima Guna and an anonymous friend spoke to a news portal about the allegations put on the actress about alleged abortion rumours.
Divorce is a painful process; Samantha Ruth Prabhu took to her social media account and shared a heartfelt note about the absurd allegation out on the actress that one of the reasons for her divorce is 'not wanting to have children'. The actress, however, cleared the air and wrote a note where she thanked her fans for their support but at the same time addressed the alleged remarks thrown on her after she announced her divorce from Naga Chaitanya.
In a tweet, Samantha said, "Your emotional investment into a personal crisis has overwhelmed me. Thank you all for showing deep empathy, concern and for defending me against false rumours and stories that are being spread. They say I had affairs, never wanted children, that I am an opportunist, and that I have had abortions. A divorce in itself is an extremely painful process. Let alone allowing me the time to heal. This attack on me personally has been relentless. But I promise you this. I will never allow this or anything they say, break me." (sic)
According to a report published in The News Minute, Samantha's friends told the news portal that abortion rumours are absurd, and the actress wanted to start a family instead. The friend told TNM that she would not pick up the phone after The Family Man 2 and did not take any of those calls as she wanted to start a family and become a mother. The TNM further quoted the friend saying that Samantha would have gone to Mumbai and done whatever she wanted, but she said no; hence the abortion speculation is making her friends furious.
TNM also quoted Neelima Guna, Shakuntalam's producer, saying that the actress was reportedly planning to have a baby. Guna said last year that when her father, director Gunasekhar Garu and her approached Samnatha for Shakuntalam, she loved the story and said that if she were to accept the role, the shooting must be completed by a maximum of July? August this year. Also Read: Why Samantha Ruth Prabhu rejected Rs 200 crore alimony? Read this
She reportedly informed Guna that she wanted to be a mother and that would be her priority. Her friends further added that all the rumours about abortion are absurd. These bizarre theories about Samantha's character are brutal behaviour of the people after she announced her divorce.
Akkineni family had not blamed Samantha for the separation. The actress has also said no to accept the Rs 200 crore alimony.
