Mammootty and Mohanlal, the superstars of Malayalam cinema, ventured into the film industry almost at a similar time and made it big.

But Pranav Mohanlal has just acted in few movies in lead roles while Dulquer Salman has already established himself in the Malayalam film industry.
Interestingly, Mammootty, in an old interview, opened up about Mohanlal's son Pranav.
The mega star opined that Pranav has a unique personality and he could have debuted in lead roles much earlier.
Mammootty also said that he is much impressed by Pranav's innocence and he is entirely different from other youngsters of his age.
He stated that for him, Pranav is just like his son and said that the star kid would surely be able to mark his place in the industry.
The 30-year-old came into acting after assisting Jeethu Joseph in two films.
