Satish Maneshinde to Mukul Rohatgi: Meet 7 lawyers fighting for Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan's bail today
Former Attorney General of India (AGI) Mukul Rohatgi with senior partners Ruby Singh Ahuja and Sandeep Kapur arrived Mumbai to appear for Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan's bail plea in Bombay HC.
Today the Bombay High Court will hear the bail pleas of Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha after the special court rejected their plea on October 20. Aryan Khan was arrested from the cruise rave party on October 3 and is currently in the Arthur Road jail. All three accused Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant, and Munmun Dhamecha have spent more than 25 nights away from home.
As the HC hears the case today, Shah Rukh Khan has appointed a seven-member legal solid team to get Aryan out on bail. It is reported that former Attorney General of India (AGI) Mukul Rohatgi, Ruby Singh Ahuja and Sandeep Kapur have flown down to Mumbai to appear for Aryan Khan's bail plea today.
Besides the above senior lawyers like Amit Desai and Bollywood's favourite Satish Maneshinde are also trying Aryan to get bail today. According to reports, Attorney General of India (AGI) Mukul Rohatgi has slammed the NCB by terming it as "an Ostrich with head buried in the sand." Talking about 66-year-old Mukul Rohatgi he was the 14th Attorney-General of India and was succeeded by K.K Venugopal.
Mukul Rohatgi is also a senior advocate at the Supreme Court of India and has earlier served as Additional Solicitor General of India. Rohatgi had held the office of the Attorney General of India for three years, from 2014 to 2017. Maneshinde and Desai, appearing for Aryan Khan, argued in court that the NCB was "misinterpreting" his WhatsApp chats to charge him.
