According to reports, Parveen Babi was in a relationship with Kabir Bedi, Bhatt's good friend. But later, when their relationship hit a rough patch, that's when Mahesh Bhatt entered.

However, the book tells that when he was leaving Parveen's house, he saw that she did not come to the door to see him off, he heard her call his name, and when he went near the bedroom door, "She was lying there on the bed, waiting for me there was complete silence because there was no need for words anymore."

Although their love life did not have a happy ending, reports say that Parveen suffered from alleged mental illness and their love life went down a rough road for the alleged lovers.
