One year to the tragic accident of basketball legend Kobe Bryant and his little angel Gianna, Bollywood stars including Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor remembers them.
On January 26, 2020, NBA Kobe Bryant and his 13-year old daughter Gianna Bryant died due to a massive helicopter crash in Calabasas, California. This shocking incident left everyone stunned.
Many months later, Kobe's wife Vanessa took to her Instagram account to share her views; she wrote, "My girls and I want to thank the millions of people who've shown support and love during this horrific time. Thank you for all the prayers. We definitely need them. We are completely devastated by the sudden loss of my adoring husband, Kobe — the amazing father of our children; and my beautiful, sweet Gianna — a loving, thoughtful, and wonderful daughter, and amazing sister to Natalia, Bianka, and Capri."
On the first death anniversary, Priyanka Chopra took to her Instagram story and shared a beautiful picture of father-daughter duo and wrote, "A Year Ago Today. Thinking of and sending all my love to Vanessa, Natalia, Bianca and Capri Bryant."
Kareena Kapoor shared a heartwarming post where Kobe is holding little Gianna, and the picture is monochromatic where a red heart is drawn over it. The caption reads, "Kobe and Gigi forever," with a heart emoji.
Vanessa also shared on Instagram captioning it, “My Gigi is INCREDIBLE and I truly appreciate your thoughtful letter. She loves you so much. I miss my baby girl and Kob-Kob so much, too. I will never understand why/how this tragedy could’ve happened to such beautiful, kind and amazing human beings. It still doesn’t seem real. Kob, we did it right. Gigi, you still make mommy proud. I love you!”
