Rohan completed his education in Mumbai and later studied filmmaking at the New York Film Academy. In a recent interview with Spotboye, Shakti Kapoor talked about Rohan calling him a family friend.

He also said he knew Rohan's father for long and they visits them often. When Kapoor was asked about his daughter Shraddha’s marriage, Kapoor said marriage is an important decision, and the way people are breaking up bothers him.

Kapoor added, "Today children decide these things on their own. If Shraddha tells me that she has chosen a life partner for herself or even if Siddhant does, I will readily agree. Why will I refuse? But at this point, they are focused on their careers."
