FollowHrithik Roshan and Sussanne Khan got divorced in 2014 after being married for 14 years and blessed with two sons Hrehaan Roshan and Hridhaan Roshan. Hrithik is Hindu, whereas Sussanne is a Muslim.
The duo maintained silence on what went wrong between them; however, several conspiracy theories were circulated online. Going back to the days when they were newly married, and when she appeared on Karan Johar’s Koffee with Karan, she talked about her being married into a Hindu, Punjabi family in the first season.
She was asked the difference in their religion by Karan, to which, Sussanne said, "You marry into another religion but, what you have been born and brought up with, you have to respect that. You have to let your kids have the best of both worlds. So you kind of imbibe in them the goodness of both religions. Get the best of both the religions into them as it would be a good combination. Both religions are very beautiful and strong religions. Hrithik is also totally like this. He is also not strong and staunch when it comes to this."
The divorce hasn't changed their relationship with their respective families. They celebrate all festivals together and go out for family vacations. Also, during the coronavirus lockdown, Sussanne was seen in Hrithik's house to be with their children.
Now, it is more than 7 years since their split, but Hrithik and Sussanne continue to maintain a healthy relationship as best friends and co-parents to their children.
According to reports, Aly Goni's cousin Arslan Goni allegedly dates Sussanne Khan. Sussanne Khan and Arslan Goni are reportedly the latest lovebirds in Tinseltown.
However, neither Sussanne Khan nor Arslan Goni has commented on these reports. A few years ago, when Hrithik Roshan was asked about remarrying Sussanne, he told Filmfare, "Today I cannot think of remarriage. I feel satiated, I feel content."
