Director Prabhudeva and Salman immediately agreed that for 'Dil De Diya' Jacqueline was the perfect fit. Salman Khan says, "Dil De Diya is very catchy song in a behind the scenes video from the song. We had this track with us and we had this situation in the film, so I took it to Prabhu sir and he loved it." Adding, "Jacqueline Fernandez has very gracefully done a song in Radhe. I appreciate the gesture. She has killed it in the song. "
Prabhudeva also talked about the same, "Dil De Diya has a retro feel to it. Jacqueline literally gave her blood and sweat for this song."
The song has unique dance steps, which is choreographed by Shabina Khan. Talking about the song Shabina says, "It's not a normal choreographed song, Prabhu sir had just one line ki 'maza aana chahiye'. He wanted the choreography to be such that someone watches it and feels like dancing."
Jacqueline impressed her fans by her grace, flexibility and dancing skills. She also triumphed the makers with her professionalism as she continued to push through despite several injuries. In this special behind the scenes video, Jacqueline reveals, "My knee was five times its size and this is just Day 2. Swelling, sprains, back ache, injuries but we just pushed through it, so fingers crossed."
