Dhurandhar’s Historic Sixth-Week Box Office Run

The thriller Dhurandhar has continued its extraordinary performance at the box office even on Day 40. The film, directed by Aditya Dhar, has maintained a strong theatrical presence well into its sixth week. While the pace of earnings has naturally slowed compared to its early weeks, the film’s steady audience pull has helped it secure the position of the highest-grossing Hindi film to date. Industry observers have noted that its sustained momentum in later weeks is rare for a Bollywood release, placing it firmly in record-breaking territory.

Day 40 Earnings and Week 6 Performance

According to trade tracking reports, Dhurandhar registered a slight rise in collections on Tuesday, earning approximately Rs 2.5 crore in India net, marginally higher than Monday’s Rs 2.35 crore. Although the film no longer posts double-digit daily figures, weekend growth in its sixth week boosted totals. It earned around Rs 5.75 crore on Saturday and Rs 6.15 crore on Sunday. With these figures, the sixth-week collection has reached an estimated Rs 20.25 crore.

Week 1: Rs 207.25 crore

Week 2: Rs 253.25 crore

Week 3: Rs 172 crore

Week 4: Rs 106.5 crore

Record-Breaking Lifetime Collections and Competitive Edge

With its ongoing success, Dhurandhar has crossed approximately Rs 810.5 crore in India nett collections, making it the highest-earning Bollywood film in history. Its gross domestic total is estimated near Rs 972.5 crore, while overseas earnings of about Rs 290 crore have taken the worldwide total to roughly Rs 1262.5 crore.

The film has also surpassed the previous sixth-week record held by Stree 2, which had collected Rs 18.6 crore in its sixth week. Additionally, despite fresh releases entering cinemas, Dhurandhar has continued to perform strongly. It has remained competitive against new titles such as The Raja Saab and has outpaced other recent Hindi releases, including the war film Ikkis.
